Need a protractor? There are many places on the web where you can download an image or PDF of a protractor to print out, but here you can design your own protractor to your specifications! Have you ever seen such fun?

Note that especially on a CRT monitor the protractor may be somewhat distorted. To get an accurate measurement you need to print it.

The script just fills in some constants in a hand-coded PostScript file. The PDF and PNG modes use Ghostscript.

[top] Vertex on bottom edge

Use this option if you want a paper protractor. The angle vertex will be on the bottom edge of the protractor, so you can put your pencil there without poking a hole in the paper.

Without this option, the vertex is in the center of the bottom part of the protractor. This is best for printing on a transparency or clear plastic.
